The CMA Awards was on last night! I have always been a fan of country music. Taylor Swift is one of my favorite country music artists. I also love Sugarland and of course Kenny Chesney. The CMA's had some great performances from Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, and many others. One of my favorite performaces of the night was Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews "I'm Alive". I love both Kenny and Dave and having the both of them perform a song together was simply amazing!
My fave Taylor Swift went home with four awards. She won Album of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year! I was actually kind of suprised when she won Entertainer of the Year only because Kenny Chesney was in that same category and she beat him out! Way to go Taylor!

I am not a fan of country music because it has a twang I don't like, but I do like Taylor Swift. I am happy that she won, she had few tough breaks this year.
ReplyDeleteI also like country a lot. For some reason I didn't hear that the awards were on TV so I guess I missed out. Have you seen any of them in concert before? I went to Country-fest for the first time last year it was awesome!
